Shipping & Returns Policy
At Bulletproof Depot, we are committed to providing battle-proven gear for those who protect and serve. Given the life-saving nature of our equipment, we maintain strict return guidelines to ensure the integrity and safety of every product we sell.
1. Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened, and non-restricted items within 14 days of delivery for an exchange or store credit, provided they are in their original packaging with all tags attached.
Final Sale Items (Non-Returnable)
In accordance with industry safety standards, the following items are Final Sale and cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are found to be defective or shipped in error:
- Body Armor & Ballistic Plates: (Hard and soft armor)
- Ballistic Helmets
- Custom-Tailored Items: (Including Custom Vest Carriers)
- PPE & Medical Supplies: (First aid kits, tourniquets, etc.)
- Personalized Items: (Name tags, custom patches)
- Clearance or Discontinued Items
Safety Note: Once body armor or helmets leave our facility, we cannot guarantee they have not been subjected to structural damage or improper storage. Therefore, we do not restock these items for the safety of our future customers.
2. Defective or Incorrect Items
If you receive an incorrect or defective item as a result of our error, please notify us immediately. Bulletproof Depot will cover the return shipping costs and provide a replacement or full refund as quickly as possible.
3. How to Initiate a Return
To request a return or exchange:
- Contact Us: Email info@bulletproofdepot.ca with your Order Number and details of the item(s) you wish to return.
- Authorization: Do not ship items back without a Return Authorization (RA) number provided by our team.
- Shipping: Except in cases of our error, the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we are not responsible for items lost in transit.
4. Refunds & Processing Time
Once your return is received and inspected (typically within 3–5 business days), we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- Approved Refunds: You should expect to receive your refund within 2 to 4 weeks. This includes transit time (5–10 business days), our internal processing, and your bank’s processing time.
- Restocking Fee: Bulletproof Depot reserves the right to apply a 15% restocking fee for items returned that are not in their original, pristine condition or for “change of mind” returns on high-value gear.
5. Shipping Policy
- Destinations: We ship across Canada. International shipping is subject to strict export regulations and may not be available for ballistic-rated items.
- Estimated Delivery: Shipping dates are estimates based on the availability of items and the carrier chosen.
- Weight-Based Rates: Our shipping rates are weight-based. To reflect carrier policies, all weights are rounded up to the next full pound.
6. Right of Refusal
Bulletproof Depot reserves the right to refuse any return or exchange request that does not meet the criteria outlined in this policy.
